WHY RELIGION?

Religion plays a vital role in developing a character of a person. It provides a framework to pass a decent and a happy life in the light of universal principles and guidelines.
Religion provides a sanction for the principles of morality like justice, brotherhood, righteousness, equality, virtuousness, tolerance, sacrifice, help to the needy and other kindred virtues.
And yes, this is possible without the aid of religion. But certainly  in the absence of  firm religious  belief, these values tend to loose their meaning and become a series of mere unbinding recommendations, because in such a case they do not amount to more than a piece of advice from a close friend in respect of which we are a full liberty to accept or reject.
These types of qualities are rather based on eternal feelings, faith and naturally beyond anyone's thoughts. we have an another strong reason here. It aims to dictate a canon that would help to heal the spiritual side of an individual, then slowly and gradually it permeates into the dynamics of life.
Believing in any sort of religion gives us an idea of moral and emotional support which is required to enhance our lives. If you aren't really a religious kind of person then practicing meditation, praying, practicing your patience level or maybe self control can create a positive you to a large extent. It basically defines who we are and what we do. ONE SHOULD UNDERSTAND THAT RELIGION IS NOT GOOD OR BAD, BUT THE PEOPLE FOLLOWING IT SET AN EXAMPLE.
Man in pursuit of materialistic happiness has lost the peace of mind. Life is like a bubble which can burst anytime. During the time of crisis, people actually need a connection with god which can literally take away all the insecurities and helps him/her to face the challenges ahead with renewed vigor.
It really gives a transformation from beast to human beings. It helps in organizing the social structure of the body. Common belief, though and similar places of worship can foster friendships and love among people. Human being is a social animal and religion helps to achieve the objective by making them making more interactive with the outside world.

Religion is beautiful.They're the reasons why we know right from wrong. They made communities and built cities, caused debates and brought people together. To see religion die because our generation chooses to be closed minded would be hypocritical.
