SPIRITUAL  ENLIGHTENMENT 

Spiritual Enlightenment is really hard to stick to.This word is used to describe so many things similar to the way the word"love" is used. Describing everything from the favorite flavour of ice cream to merging in anything.
Spiritual Awakening is such rich and complex experience that they are innately hard to define. Some definitions are very specific and narrow but this word has different perspectives. One is the complete dissolution of one's identity as a separate self with no trace of egoic mind remaining. This actually sets the bar very high and very less people are qualified in this case.
The other perspective is that everyone is enlightened, the main part is the awake consciousness. Now the question lies here is that, is this natural awakeness recognized naturally or not? If everyone is enlightened then why talk about it?
Now let's combine these two  perspectives together. It recognizes that consciousness is always awake and enlightened, but the amount of awakeness, enlightenment or aware consciousness can vary. It is a sudden expansion or shift in consciousness especially a more dramatic one.
What really matters is what your awareness is doing right now.How is your consciousness appearing or shifting in this moment? Or are you contracting and  limiting your awareness with thoughts and identification?
Enlightenment or awakening is a profound mystery. and trust me the best definition is found in actual experiences of our own shifts. Just as it's more nourishing to eat an apple than to read about it, so it can be more rewarding to explore about the moments of your awareness than try to understand these things mentally. It's a good thing that the language isn't so fixed or defined when it comes to spiritual unfoldment. Maybe the best definition of enlightenment is no definition. Then there is only what is found in your own experience.
